Pete Lambrou, der visionäre Komponist und Multiinstrumentalist hinter VLMV (ausgesprochen „Alma“), zählt zu den markantesten Stimmen der britischen Ambient-, Post-Rock- und Experimentalmusikszene. Mit atmosphärischen Soloarbeiten, Film- und Fernsehmusik sowie eindrucksvollen Live-Auftritten hat Lambrou ein unverwechselbares Klanguniversum geschaffen, das er selbst als „ambient-artiges Post-Irgendwas“ beschreibt – eine spielerische und zugleich treffende Zusammenfassung eines Sounds, der genreübergreifend und zutiefst immersiv ist.
