Sonars are a two piece Electro-Psych outfit from the UK and Italy. The band consists of Brighton-born Frederick Paysden and Serena Oldrati from Bergamo.
Since their debut release in 2015 they have performed over 250 concerts throughout Europe at festivals such as Europavox (FR), Eurosonic Noorderslag (NL), Bime (ES), MIL (PT) and Maifeld Derby (DE), sharing the bill with international acts such as Slowdive, Last Shadow Puppets, King Gizzard, Thurston Moore and Primal Scream.
In 2018 they released a new single which was played on several UK radio stations, followed by official showcases at SXSW (Austin, TX), Canadian Music Week (Toronto, ON) and an extensive UK tour. After a busy festival season they went on to support Thirty Seconds To Mars and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) at the open-air Milano Rocks festival in September, performing before a crowd of thousands of people.
